Your personal data
In plain words, like the rest of Janus-12: everything we do with your data, in accordance with Cameroonian Law No. 2024/017 on the protection of personal data. Page updated on 7 October 2026.
This page is a translation. The French version prevails.
Who is responsible
Ikond Parfait is the controller of your data and its data protection officer. For any question or request: batoumbiikond@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your account: your email address and your password, kept only as a fingerprint: nobody can read it back, not even us. We also keep the date of your agreements at sign-up, and the language in which you receive our emails and notifications.
Your subscription: the plan, its dates, the amount paid and the payment reference. Your payment details are entered with the payment provider, never on Janus-12.
What you choose to do: email or phone alerts if you ask for them, the bets you save, the analyses you open, your referral code, and the link to a testimonial if you publish one. For phone alerts, we keep the technical address your browser gives us to send them, the date of your agreement, and a record of each sending. During the matches of your saved tickets, these alerts also tell you when a selection is won or lost, when the ticket is won or lost, and when its chance crosses 50% either way: we then keep a record of what was sent to you. As a subscriber, you also receive live market alerts for the matches you follow or have saved, and for those involving one of the top three teams of the five major leagues: for this we read your followed matches and saved bets, and keep from these alerts only what was announced for each match, without your name.
If you play the Challenge: the username you choose, your level, your predictions and your weekly rankings, and the date on which you accepted its rules. Players in your group see your username, your points and your exact scores, never your predictions. This data is deleted with your account.
If you refer or are referred: before rewarding a referral, we check with our payment provider that the referrer and the referred member did not pay with the same mobile money number. The number is compared in encrypted form, without being displayed or kept.
Nothing else: we keep no phone number, no postal address and no advertising tracker.
Why
To run your account and your subscription, send you the alerts you asked for, record the proof of your bets, organise the Challenge, and reward a referral, a testimonial or a Challenge win, after checking that it is due. Your data is not sold, rented or used for advertising.
Who receives it
No one other than the providers that run the service:
- Supabase, which hosts the database, in Ireland;
- Cloudflare, which runs the website;
- Brevo, which sends the alert emails;
- your phone's notification service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft, depending on your browser), which carries the alerts without being able to read them: they are encrypted for your device only;
- NotchPay (Cameroon) and GeniusPay (Côte d'Ivoire), for payments;
- Hostinger, which keeps the backups on a server in Paris.
Outside Cameroon
Your data is hosted in Ireland, and some providers are located outside Cameroon. You expressly consent to this when you create your account. The law also requires an authorisation from the Data Protection Authority: it is not yet in place, and we will ask it for one as soon as it is.
How long
- Your account and what relates to it: until you delete it, or after two years without logging in. In that case, we warn you by email one month before.
- Your payments (plan, amount, date, reference): ten years, even after your account is deleted, but then detached from your identity. Accounting law requires it.
- Your email alerts: until you unsubscribe; the record of each sending, 90 days.
- Your phone alerts: until you turn them off, then 90 days; the record of each sending, 90 days.
- The log of the analyses you open: 90 days.
- Backups: 90 days, then they are erased.
- Cookies: the session and the referral 30 days, the current coupon 7 days. They make the site work; none of them follows you elsewhere.
Your rights
At any time, you can access your data, correct it, retrieve it, object to its processing, withdraw a consent or erase everything.
- Erase everything: delete your account, without asking anyone. Only the accounting record of your payments remains, detached from your identity.
- Stop receiving alerts: unsubscribe.
- Everything else: write to batoumbiikond@gmail.com.
Age
Janus-12 is reserved for people aged 21 or over, the age of civil majority in Cameroon.
Security
Access to the database is closed to the public, passwords that have already appeared in a known leak are refused, and administration requires a second factor. If your data is breached, we will inform you, and the Authority as soon as it exists.
